Our conveyor belt edge sealing unit is specially engineered to carry out thermal finishing on the side edges of PU and PVC conveyor belts. Through precision thermal fusion and constant compression, the equipment smooths the belt edge structure, sealing exposed fabric layers effectively. The process requires no additional adhesive supplies, and minimal pre-processing of belt edges before operation. It supports processing ultra-thin conveyor belts starting from 0.8mm.
This edge finishing treatment brings outstanding hygiene performance, which is highly valued for food handling conveyor applications. The sealed side profile stops water, oil and grease from penetrating into the internal fabric, and avoids fiber shedding that may contaminate food products. It is widely adopted in meat processing, pastry baking, dairy and candy production lines. For electronic workshops, sealed belt edges reduce dust produced by edge friction to satisfy clean production standards. The finished belts resist edge fraying and side abrasion, greatly extending operational lifespan.
